Joe is the Director of Soccer Operations for M. C. United and also coaches a U-15 boys team. Joe has been the head coach of the Men's Soccer program at Forest Park since 2006, and the head coach of the Women's Soccer Program at Forest Park since the 2005 season. He is a Forest Park Alumnus, and earned All-Region Honors at Forest Park in 1991 and 1992. He has been an assistant to Pat McBride at Forest Park for the men's soccer program since 1993. Joe also played professional indoor soccer for the St. Louis Steamers from 2000-03 and was the assistant coach from 2003-05 under Daryl Doran. Joe was the President of Giuliani soccer club from 2004-2007. He is also the co-owner of Smugala’s Pizza since 1989 and the proud father of Sarah, Joe and Olivia.
