U17 Renegades take first in the Mid-America Cup College Showcase
in Peoria Illinois.
The Renegades go 3-1-0 in the round robin White division.
Outstanding performance by all players. Goals from Nick Evers,
Ryan Lund & Kelly Willmann. Only 1 goal against for the whole
tournament. Great defense by Mike Atkins, Angelo Bongiorno,
Cameron Woods and Connor Roenfeldt. And an outstanding
performance by Casey Hunk in goal.
The field was controlled well all weekend by Nick Hellmann,
Conner Feeney, Nick Gier, Tim Kennett, Jeff Bernstein and Kevin
Walsh.

Director of Player development Mark Chartrand (center) and MO. 93 O.D.P. and M.C. United Storm Goal keeper Jessica Perry (right) were special guests of Coach Greg Ryan and the Women's U.S. National team during their private practice session on Friday October 12th 2007. When asked about the opportunity to see the best players in the world, Jessica said "it was a once in a life time opportunity and I want to thank Coach Ryan for his invitation. We were mere feet away from Abby Womabach, Kristine Lilly, Briana Scurry. The Highlight of the morning was the conversation we had with Abby Wombach. She walked right up to us and was very gracious." Mark said "it was a great experience and I got to see first hand how a coach at this level deals with the preparation of his team before an international match."
